Internship in Virtual Product Development – Digital Prototype

With us you get exciting insights into digital vehicle development and can actively help shape it. Depending on your interests and skills, you can contribute to various topics. The internship is full-time at the Porsche Development Center in Weissach.

• Support in automating processes around data and models
• Analysis and preparation of data for virtual vehicle models
• Help with further developing our workflows for geometry, technology data and functional models
• Creating small tools and scripts to increase efficiency
• Visualization and documentation of results
• Introduction to AI methods, e.g. for processing CAD data

• Studies in computer science, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or a similar field
• First experience in data management, automation or simulation is an advantage
• Knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Python)
• Optional: knowledge of ML concepts or CAD tools
• Good German and English skills (at least B2)
• Confident use of MS Office and possibly practical experience with VBA for Excel
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Independent and structured way of working as well as teamwork skills
