Internship Motorsport Powertrain (Design, Simulation or Dimensioning)

Internship at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG in Weissach in motorsport powertrain. Focus areas are design, simulation or dimensioning, and component development for projects with and without road approval (e.g. combustion engines, transmissions, electric machines, power electronics), as well as motorsport projects. Start: February/March or September/October, duration: 6 months.

• Motorsport projects

• A place at university for (industrial) engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering or mechatronics, or a comparable degree program (at least in the 3rd semester or in the gap year between Bachelor's and Master's)
• CAD knowledge for the design focus (e.g. CATIA V5)
• First experience modelling powertrain components for the simulation/dimensioning focus (e.g. FEM, MBS, circuit simulation)
• First experience modelling physical systems, ideally Simulink, for the simulation/dimensioning focus
• Enthusiasm for technology
• Confident use of MS Office
• Teamwork and communication skills as well as flexibility
• An independent, structured, thorough and analytical way of working
