Internship Brand Planning Paint Shop (Plant Technology & Product Design)

The team shapes the paint shop of tomorrow: from corrosion-protection-compliant vehicle design and paintability of the body to integrating new models into production. It plans facilities, ensures manufacturability in close coordination with development and production, and drives innovation in process optimization and sustainability.

• Actively contributing to automation and innovation projects in the paint shop
• Supporting the creation of requirement specifications and the awarding process
• Helping with the setup and integration of production facilities into vehicle manufacturing
• Analyzing new technologies through innovation scouting and benchmarking
• Preparing committees and creating project documents and evaluations

• A place at university studying mechanical engineering, production or manufacturing engineering, process engineering/chemical and bioengineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineering (at least in the 3rd semester or in a gap year between Bachelor and Master)
• Independent, motivated and structured way of working and quick comprehension
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Strong interest in cars
• Confident use of MS Office
• Ideally already experience in plant technology and/or the automotive industry, vehicle design or body construction, e.g. through previous internships and working student jobs
