Internship Product Technology Painted Body

We are the pilot plant - Product Technology Painted Body in Zuffenhausen. Here you experience how the high-performance body of a sports car is created from highest precision and innovative joining technology. You accompany series production as well as the integration of new sports cars and work directly on vehicle bodies and production systems. In doing so, you support our cross-functional expert teams.

• Support in planning, preparation and execution of analyses as well as measurement and test series in body construction
• Participation in analysis and optimization of fully automated mechanical, thermal and chemical joining processes
• Contribution to analysis and optimization of geometry-defining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and geometric quality of the vehicle body
• Assistance in evaluation of technical data from quality control loop results for resource planning and derivation of suitable measures for process optimization

• Studies in a technical field, e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or comparable degree program
• Determination, willingness to perform and a structured, independent working style
• Interest and enthusiasm for complex analysis tasks in an engineering environment
• Strong team and communication skills
• Practical technical knowledge is an advantage, for example through vocational training
