Apprenticeship Paper Technologist

These are your tasks: - Paper production: As a prospective paper technologist, you accompany the entire manufacturing process from raw material to finished paper. - Production processes: You learn the individual production steps such as waste paper preparation directly at the paper machine and monitor the processes digitally. - Maintenance & Repair: You maintain our paper machines and systems and assist in troubleshooting. - Quality control: In the lab, you test the quality of our corrugated base papers and finished papers using various measuring and testing methods. - Personal development: Experienced colleagues accompany you throughout your entire apprenticeship and teach you the necessary expertise step by step.

• School leaving certificate: You have a good secondary school diploma (intermediate maturity). A vocational preparation year (BVJ) in a technical field is a plus. - Technical interest: You have a high technical understanding and are interested in chemical and physical processes. - Sense of responsibility: You work independently, carefully, and approach tasks reliably. - Team spirit: You are a true team player and enjoy working with others. - Flexibility: You are open to block instruction at the paper technical school in Altenburg and can imagine working in shift service after your apprenticeship.
