IT Support Specialist

The internal IT team of Virtual Minds in Freiburg (a subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE) is looking for an IT support specialist with first experience in first- and second-level support. Hybrid position.

• You support our employees with technical questions and problems around their IT workplaces in first- and second-level support and help with inventory, management and provision of our IT hardware.
• You set up laptops, PCs, monitors, mobile phones and other IT devices and make sure employees have the hardware and software they need.
• You take on administrative tasks in our Microsoft 365 environment with Entra ID, Exchange Online and SharePoint Online, and together with your team you look after our Atlassian applications Jira and Confluence and the add-ons used.
• You take on technical tasks in onboarding and offboarding employees, for example setting up and collecting devices and providing and deactivating user access.
• You analyze and fix technical faults independently, document requests and solutions and help continuously improve our internal IT processes.

• You have completed vocational training in IT, for example as an IT specialist for system integration, or have comparable practical knowledge and first experience in IT support, service desk or looking after IT workplaces.
• You know Windows operating systems, common workplace hardware and typical IT applications. Ideally you have also worked with macOS.
• You have first experience with Microsoft 365 and managing user accounts and permissions. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online or SharePoint Online is a plus.
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented way, spot problems and tackle them on your own initiative.
• You have very good German and good English skills.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence administration, experience with PowerShell (or other scripting languages), basic knowledge of networking such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP, and experience with mobile device management (MDM) or central device management are big pluses.
