Nurse, Healthcare Professional, Special Needs Care Worker, or Geriatric Nurse with a Degree or Advanced Training

Advanced forensic nursing involves professional responsibility, conceptual thinking, and evidence-based practice. Your nursing qualification will be applied directly to psychiatric primary nursing in everyday ward work and in a multiprofessional setting.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate complex psychiatric nursing processes
• Contribute professionally to treatment and case conferences
• Develop and implement evidence-based nursing concepts and projects
• Help further develop standards, guidelines, and care processes
• Deliver and conceptually develop nursing therapy group programs
• Provide peer consultation and professional input within the team
• Participate in quality- and safety-related projects

• Completed training as a qualified nurse, healthcare professional, special needs care worker, or geriatric nurse
• State-recognized advanced training in psychiatry and/or a bachelor's or master's degree in nursing
• Analytical and structured working style
• Ability to further develop nursing processes conceptually
• Confidence in professional practice in a forensic context
• Willingness to take responsibility for professional quality
• Sensitivity to ethical issues involving treatment, patient autonomy, and security in a forensic setting
