About this Apprenticeship
For our Deals business area, we are looking for you as an Intern Mergers & Acquisitions (f/m/d) starting April 1, 2027.
What You'll Learn
M&A Projects – You support us in the acquisition and execution of exciting national and international M&A projects. Analyses – Together with our diversely composed teams, you can apply and expand your business and financial knowledge to create market and company analyses, identify potential investors or investment objects, and conduct company valuations. Support – You manage and prepare standard documents and tools (e.g., pitch documents, models, and teasers) and gain deep insights into the daily work of M&A consultants. Diversity – Our clients come particularly from the automotive, industrial products, service industries, healthcare/pharma, consumer & retail, chemicals, and private equity sectors.
Requirements
- You are studying business, engineering, or natural sciences and have completed at least the third semester.
- Ideally, you already have initial practical experience in M&A, Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, or Valuation, as well as an interest in financial matters.
- You communicate confidently and fluently in both German and English, both verbally and in writing.
- IT skills, especially for creating presentations, are second nature to you, and you are interested in working with databases and internet research.
- You want to support us during your internship for a period of at least 3 months.
What We Offer
Culture – We want you to feel comfortable with us. That's why we maintain an open and modern corporate and leadership culture where we recognize and celebrate achievements together. Flexibility – In coordination with your team, you can expect a mix of shared office days and home office. There are no core working hours – within operational requirements and legal regulations, you can arrange your working hours flexibly. Additionally, you have the opportunity to work temporarily in over 40 countries. Master's Support – Through our internal Academy, international experiences via secondments, and continuous mentoring, you will develop continuously. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of financial support for a master's degree (both consecutive and specialization master's). KiT – With our "Keep in Touch" (KiT) program, we stay in contact with our interns and working students even after the internship ends, offering many benefits such as exclusive invitations to seminars and workshops and extensive information on entry opportunities. That's not all – We want to create a positive work environment: an environment where flexible and creative work is possible, where work is recognized and performance is rewarded, and one we are proud of. All benefits can be found on our career page.
