About this Apprenticeship
Support the management team at the REWE store in Garching bei München with all store tasks and deputise when needed. This permanent, full-time role includes team leadership, business performance management and customer service.
What You'll Learn
- Help implement REWE's sales concept and carry out the related advertising and sales activities.
- Manage sales, costs and stocktaking performance, implement quality management and ensure compliance with legal and company rules.
- Support your team with advice and practical help, lead by example and prepare staff schedules.
- Lead with respect and treat people as equals, building trusting working relationships.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and friendly service so customers feel welcome.
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in food retail; an advanced qualification in trade and commerce is an advantage
- Ideally, experience as a manager or deputy manager in retail sales
- Motivation to perform, organisational skills and a focus on results
- Leadership skills, a sense of responsibility and team spirit
