About this Apprenticeship
Permanent part-time role working 20–25 hours per week at the fresh food counter of the REWE store at Ellnröder Straße 25 in Gemünden (Wohra). You advise customers on meat, cold cuts, cheese and deli foods and prepare quality specialities. Qualified staff and career changers are welcome.
What You'll Learn
- Give customers appealing product displays, expert advice and friendly service
- Prepare and portion products with care and skill
- Make specialities independently using in-house recipes
- Put your ideas for sales promotions into practice
- Use your attention to detail to keep products well displayed and fresh and ensure hygiene rules are followed
Requirements
- Ideally, completed vocational training or work experience in food retail, catering or chain restaurants
- Career changers with experience handling food are also welcome
- Interest in preparing and improving meat and fresh food products
- Enjoyment of working with people and enthusiasm for retail
- A strong focus on customers, good communication skills, team spirit and a sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work flexible shifts from Monday to Saturday between 07:00 and 20:00
