Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic - Maintenance from 2027

Apprenticeship as a state-recognised industrial mechanic specialising in maintenance, lasting 3.5 years. Training starts on 1 September 2027.

Reading, applying and creating technical documents and carrying out quality assurance; assembling individual parts and assemblies and maintaining equipment; aligning and clamping tools and workpieces; manually and mechanically machining, separating, reshaping and joining metal parts; setting up and testing pneumatic circuits; identifying, narrowing down and resolving faults and malfunctions on CNC machines; setting up CNC-controlled machines.

Good school-leaving qualification; good skills in mathematics, German and English; interest in technology and business topics; team spirit, reliability and communication skills; attention to detail and sense of responsibility; ability to identify problems independently and proactively take on tasks and projects.
