Technical Purchaser

Responsibility for the complete handling of procurement processes in the technical area for defined purchasing categories (inquiry creation, obtaining offers, tendering, negotiation and award, complaint processing) Implementation of supplier management (market observation in connection with acquired product knowledge, supplier research, qualification, evaluation) Responsibility for supplier risk management (risk provision, assessment of possible supplier failures and checking supplier creditworthiness) Active further development of assigned product groups by developing suitable product group and procurement strategies in close coordination with team and department management Participation in the optimization and standardization of purchasing and procurement processes along the source-to-pay process

• Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering or comparable degree or corresponding training with further education as a certified specialist in materials management/purchasing (m/f/d)
• Relevant professional experience in purchasing/materials management
• Confident handling of SAP as well as MS Office
• Very good German language skills and negotiation-proof English language skills in word and writing
• Structured, independent and team-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
