About this Apprenticeship
Rheinmetall NC GmbH is looking for an electronics technician for industrial and automation technology in Lingen (Ems), full-time, permanent.
What You'll Learn
- Maintenance, servicing and electronic support of process plants including measurement, control and regulation technology (MSR) and SIL-rated protective devices
- Troubleshooting, fault clearing and repair of electrical and automation systems during ongoing production
- Commissioning, parameterization and optimization of process control systems (e.g. Siemens S7 or TIA Portal)
- Installation, connection and testing of electrical equipment, and documentation as specified
- Carrying out and documenting tests
- Support with planning, conversion, expansion and commissioning of plant sections
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as an electronics technician (m/f/d) for industrial technology (industrial electronics technician / plant electronics technician / energy electronics technician)
- Professional experience in the chemical industry or a comparable process industry
- Qualification for testing electrical systems in explosive areas desirable
- Knowledge of PLC programming and ideally of process control systems (DCS)
- Understanding of process engineering contexts and safety regulations
- Willingness to work shifts (currently 5-day week, future switch to a rolling 7-day system)
- Very good German skills, spoken and written
- Strong sense of safety and responsibility
