Adhesive Bonding Engineer

• Responsibility for maintaining adhesive bonding certification according to TLA-0023 and fulfillment of associated duties
• Assumption of the function as responsible adhesive bonding supervisor in the production environment (adhesive bonding defense technology)
• Technical responsibility for the selection, design and implementation of adhesive bonds & adhesive processes
• Development, introduction and optimization of adhesive processes for prototypes, pre-series and series production
• Planning and execution of process qualifications as well as proof of process capability and reproducibility
• Advising design on adhesive-bonding-suitable design of components and assemblies (Design for Adhesive Bonding)
• Ensuring quality by defining test characteristics, test methods and acceptance criteria for adhesive bonds
• Investigation and evaluation of adhesive bonding errors, damage cases and deviations including root cause analysis and tracking of measures

• Successfully completed engineering degree including further training as an international adhesive bonding engineer (EAE) desirable
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Experience with adhesive bonding techniques in the area of DIN 2304 & DIN EN ISO 21368 as well as sound knowledge in dealing with welded constructions
• Very good German and English skills in word and writing
• Willingness to undertake regular business trips
