Material Manager Portfolio Digital Systems

Material manager for the Digital Systems portfolio at Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH in Kassel. Responsible for material availability, operational purchasing, scheduling, delivery date assurance and cross-project material requirements coordination. Permanent full-time contract.

• Ensuring material availability for production
• Coordination and tracking of delivery dates and their communication to production
• Operational purchasing and scheduling
• Initiation of suitable measures to secure delivery dates in case of delays
• Creation of evaluations and reports for project stakeholders (m/f/d)
• Cross-site initiation and coordination of material requirements
• Support of change management within the project

• Successfully completed degree in business administration or industrial engineering or completed commercial/technical vocational training with further education to technician or master (m/f/d)
• First professional experience in the sought field, ideally in metal processing industry
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Extensive knowledge in SAP modules MM/ME and confident MS Office skills
• Very good German and English skills in word and writing
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility
• Willingness for occasional business trips
