What You'll Learn
- Contact person for technical questions / topics regarding the manufacturability of new developments as well as supplier selection (m/f/d) and international project acceptances of welding tests
- Quality assurance and optimization of processes in the welding shop
- Conducting and accompanying welding audits to maintain Q3 welding certification according to DIN 2303 as well as further audits according to ISO 3834 and DIN 2303 Q2
- Creation of welding instructions, welding procedure tests (execution and determination), firing procedure tests, welding sequence and test plans
- Evaluation, testing, calculation and qualification of new manufacturing processes
- Development and support of design as well as qualification of welding technical equipment
- Monitoring of occupational safety activities in the field of welding, creation of risk assessments and operating instructions, commissioning of required tests on systems
- Selection of welding technical personnel
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree, e.g. in mechanical engineering or completed training with additional qualification as welding engineer (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Ideally training in the field of NDT (VT2, PT2 testing according to ISO 9712)
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations of welding technology
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP (Q-module)
- High comprehension and communication skills as well as assertiveness
- Very good German and English language skills in word and writing
- Willingness to travel
