Specialist Accounting - General Ledger

Rheinmetall AG is looking for a Specialist Accounting - General Ledger in Düsseldorf, full-time with a permanent contract.

• Responsibility for the proper recording of all business transactions in the general ledger and in fixed asset and bank accounting
• Managing the general ledger accounting of a company under HGB and IFRS
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Responsibility for reconciling and maintaining the relevant accounts
• Ensuring proper and timely bookkeeping
• Support with balance sheet and accounting questions
• Cooperation with internal departments and contacts in closing and audit processes

• Commercial training with further qualification as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a completed degree focused on accounting, finance or business administration
• Several years of professional experience as a general ledger accountant (m/f/d)
• Very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS knowledge an advantage
• Experience in bank and fixed asset accounting
• Good knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems
• Pronounced analytical thinking
• Structured, independent and careful way of working
• High initiative as well as teamwork and communication skills
• Business-fluent German and/or English
