Specialist Commercial & Contracts

Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH is looking for a full-time Specialist Commercial & Contracts in Düsseldorf with a permanent contract. The role covers the commercial support of national and international projects.

• Commercial support of national and international projects across the entire project lifecycle
• Support in preparing, reviewing and negotiating offers, contracts and amendments
• Identification, assessment and management of commercial opportunities and risks
• Close collaboration with bid management, pricing, project management, sales and other departments
• Support in developing and implementing commercial strategies for complex projects
• Participation in contract changes, claims and supplementary claim and change management
• Preparing decision papers, profitability analyses and management presentations and ensuring compliance with internal commercial governance and approval processes
• Participation in building and continuously developing standardized commercial processes and methods

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, business law, industrial engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in commercial management, contract management, bid management, project controlling or project management – ideally in international project business
• Experience handling complex contracts and working with interdisciplinary project teams
• Ideally first knowledge of public contract and pricing law (e.g. VOPR) and interest in complex national and international defence projects
• Strong commercial understanding and a good sense for economic contexts and risks
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems
• Confident negotiation skills, strong communication and teamwork skills, an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working and a high degree of initiative
