Systems Architect Complete Vehicle Systems

Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH in Kassel is looking for a systems architect for complete vehicle systems, full-time with a permanent contract. The focus is on system and product architecture, architecture documentation and requirements engineering.

• Technical responsibility and control for a complete system, focusing on system and product architecture, considering time, costs, resources and quality
• Creation and maintenance of architecture and design documentation (e.g. weight balances, energy balances) as well as bills of materials and structures at overall system level
• Carrying out and coordinating requirements engineering and claim management by identifying, documenting, verifying and managing requirements from standards, laws, specifications and internal processes

• Completed university degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Vehicle Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, e.g. in the defense, automotive or aerospace industry
• Knowledge of requirements management, ideally with DOORS
• Confident use of CAD programs, e.g. Siemens NX
• Practical experience in MBSE (Enterprise Architect) and with Confluence/Jira
• Good MS Office skills
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Willingness to travel on business occasionally
