Systems Engineer Analysis & Functional Design of Digital Systems

The systems engineer for system analysis and functional design is responsible for the structured decomposition of vehicle functions from requirements and their modeling as a basis for the technical and physical architecture of the overall vehicle with a focus on connectivity.

• Analysis of system requirements to derive system functions
• Creation of system context, use cases and operational concepts
• Decomposition of functionality and associated description of system behavior
• Ensuring traceability between system requirements, functional and logical architecture
• Derivation of requirements from system safety and cybersecurity in functional analysis
• Review and responsibility for release and maturity of function-oriented system specification and documentation
• Modeling of function chains, function behavior and interfaces

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, vehicle engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Experience in systems engineering, system requirements & MBSE for mechatronic products
• System experience in vehicle development according to the V-model, E/E architecture an advantage
• Knowledge of SysML modeling, top-down and bottom-up analysis skills
• Experience with DOORS Classic, Cameo/Rhapsody
• Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken
• Strong analytical and systemic thinking across domains
• Willingness to travel
