Production Support Systems Engineer

Permanent full-time role at Rheinmetall Landsysteme in Kiel, providing technical manufacturing support and managing changes.

• Analyse and initially assess technical problems affecting manufacturing
• Work closely with development, manufacturing and production support teams across sites
• Attend relevant meetings and contribute actively to the cross-functional team
• Help classify manufacturing problems under process guidelines
• Coordinate urgent changes with technical configuration management
• Manage and track changes through the change management process
• Attend Change Review Boards and Change Implementation Boards
• Coordinate regularly with core engineering teams
• Prepare status reports on problems and changes
• Escalate critical issues to team and department managers

• Completed degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a similar subject
• Professional experience as a systems engineer or in a similar technical role
• Experience in production or manufacturing support
• Broad technical understanding and good judgement
• Very good spoken and written German and English
• Motivation to develop your expertise and take responsibility
• Proactive approach focused on finding solutions
• Strong communication skills in teams across different functions
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work
