Plant Mechanic for Sanitary and Heating Technology

INNOVATIVE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY, CLOSE TO PATIENTS: The University Hospital Giessen and Marburg (UKGM) ensures the care of our 500,000 patients per year at the highest medical and nursing level with around 10,000 employees at both locations in Giessen and Marburg. At the Marburg site, we are looking for a Plant Mechanic/Operating Technician for Heating and Sanitary (m/f/d) for the Technical and Construction Division, Heating-Sanitary-Machinery Department, for a permanent full-time position, starting immediately.

• The field of activity includes the technical support, inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all building and operational technical systems in the hospital. This particularly concerns sanitary, heating, and mechanical engineering, including drinking water, wastewater, fire extinguishing, water treatment, and pressure boosting systems, as well as heat generation and heat distribution systems. Further activities include the support and execution of small installation work in our existing systems and the accompaniment of new construction and conversion measures.

• We are addressing applicants with completed vocational training as a plant mechanic for sanitary, heating, and air conditioning technology or comparable training with proven professional experience in the aforementioned area. Participation in technical night and weekend standby or on-call duty, as well as the ability to drive service vehicles (driver's license class B), is required.
