Licensed Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists as Lead Psychologist

The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, with inpatient and day-clinic places and outpatient departments at four locations (Frankfurt (Oder), Eisenhüttenstadt, Seelow, Rüdersdorf), provides full care for the city of Frankfurt/Oder and parts of the neighbouring districts. A lead psychologist is wanted.

• Therapeutic leadership of the children's ward with day clinic (ages 6-14) under dual senior physician leadership
• Diagnosing mental disorders using disorder-specific psychodiagnostic methods
• Carrying out individual and group therapy
• Taking part in ward rounds and team meetings
• Psychotherapeutic supervision and guidance of psychological, psychotherapeutic and medical staff in training
• Further developing therapeutic concepts
• Writing and correcting findings and progress reports
• Active contribution to our in-house training programme
• Supporting clinic management in the further development of the clinic's content and structure, including internal and external cooperation

• a completed university degree in psychology, education or social work (Diplom/M.Sc.)
• a licence (Approbation) as a child and adolescent psychotherapist with specialist qualification in a guideline-approved method
• Knowledge of psychological diagnostics and assessment
• Knowledge of disorder-specific diagnostics and of applying psychotherapeutic interventions
• Teamwork, experience and enjoyment of working in a multi-professional team
• Meeting our patients and their families with empathy and competence at eye level
