Dual Student Digital Health

The dual study program qualifies you to help shape the digital transformation in the healthcare system at one of the largest healthcare providers. You will cover elements from IT, business administration, and healthcare management and apply your knowledge as an internal IT service provider at RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG. As a business informatics specialist, you will form the interface between specialist departments and IT and work on the conception and implementation of innovative digitalization projects. You will independently solve various technical and business-related issues in collaboration with the respective team. You will learn about business, IT-related, and medical processes and understand how our customers in the RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG group use our IT solutions. You will be entrusted with various tasks in your varied working day and may take on responsibility from the start, increasingly developing your own concepts and implementing new IT projects. The program starts on 01.10.2027, lasts 6 semesters, follows a 3-month rhythm (3 months at RIT GmbH, 3 months at university), and takes place at DHBW Mannheim, leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).

You have successfully completed the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). You are interested in computer science and software, as well as healthcare topics. Mathematics is not a mystery to you and you enjoy it. Analytical thinking, independent work, sense of responsibility, and a high affinity for new programs.
