Educator for the "Waldspatzen" Daycare Centre

The "Waldspatzen" kindergarten of the Zentralklinik Bad Berka is located at the edge of the forest near the hospital. The daycare has 4 group areas, a gym, a kitchen and a large garden, and looks after 70 children from age 1, Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 17:00. Its educational work is based on holistic support of the child.

• You prefer being outdoors to indoors and spend every day with the children in nature.
• You look after and support children of different ages from one year to school entry.
• You bring your personal interests and skills in music, art, sports or natural sciences into supporting the children.
• In the situation-based approach you are primarily a companion (m/f/d) and observer (m/f/d), but also act as an explorer (m/f/d), researcher (m/f/d) and partner (m/f/d) of the children.
• You treat children with respect and affection and work with situational commitment and flexibility.

• A completed training as an educator (m/f/d) with state recognition, or a university degree as a social or early childhood pedagogue (m/f/d) or in educational science.
• You accompany our children with empathy for a part of their life path and enjoy carrying out and developing the daily activities in our daycare.
• Interest in implementing the Thuringian education plan and developing the pedagogical concept.
• You enjoy working constructively in a team, with parents, the school and other institutions, and have the ability and motivation to work independently.
• A respectful approach to other cultures is natural for you.
