Specialist Physician in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery

Zentralklinik Bad Berka is seeking a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery for a permanent, full-time position starting as soon as possible. The department treats injuries and degenerative conditions of the musculoskeletal system, including hand and foot surgery but excluding the spine. It has 36 beds, a certified regional trauma center and a certified joint replacement center.

• Provide surgical care across the full range of orthopedic and trauma surgery treatments
• Further develop the joint replacement center and trauma center
• Actively participate in training doctors undertaking specialist training
• Work closely with the emergency department
• Participate in outpatient care, for example at the medical care center

• A license to practice medicine and several years of professional experience
• Specialist qualification in orthopedics and trauma surgery
• A committed, responsible and especially patient-focused personality with sound theoretical knowledge
• Willingness to take responsibility for organizational and clinical processes
• Openness to new structures and process improvements
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and a high level of reliability
