About this Apprenticeship
University Hospital Giessen and Marburg (UKGM) is looking for support for the functional service in the cardiac catheterization lab of cardiology. The hospital places great value on employee well-being and is certified as a family-friendly employer; there is a daycare centre within the hospital.
What You'll Learn
- Preparation, assistance and follow-up of cardiac catheterization examinations (e.g. coronary angiographies, electrophysiological examinations, minimally invasive valve therapy procedures)
- Monitoring and operating medical devices, instruments and products
- Assisting with emergency measures in an interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- You have a three-year medical vocational qualification
- Teamwork and integrity are among your strengths
- Interest in responsible work in a highly technical workplace
- An open-minded, committed and conscientious employee
- Willingness to take part in late shifts and on-call duty
