About this Apprenticeship
Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder) GmbH is looking for dialysis nurses. This Charité teaching hospital provides specialist care across eastern Brandenburg and employs around 1,700 people.
What You'll Learn
- Care for patients throughout dialysis treatment, from preparing the dialysis station and inserting needles to recording treatment results
- Monitor patients during treatment
- Prepare the dialysis treatment plan
- Assist with medical procedures, such as placing shunts and other catheters
- Advise patients
Requirements
- Completed vocational nursing qualification
- Practical dialysis experience is desirable; at least two years of clinical experience in an inpatient setting is required
- Strong mental and physical resilience
- Enjoyment of working in a trusting, multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to work on call, at weekends and on public holidays
