About this Apprenticeship
The hospital pharmacy at Zentralklinik Bad Berka offers the full range of clinical pharmaceutical work: from medication history taking and drug preparation to pharmaceutical counselling and drug logistics. It currently supplies 1,800 beds in 5 clinics and is an approved training site for clinical pharmacy. As a PTA, you have the chance to take part in almost all areas of pharmaceutical work.
What You'll Learn
- Preparation of cytostatics as well as compounded and prescription medicines
- Incoming inspection of raw materials
- Blister packaging of patient-specific medication
- Medication history taking
- Pharmaceutical counselling and patient care in almost all areas of pharmaceutical work
- Drug logistics
Requirements
- Completed training as a pharmaceutical-technical assistant (m/f/d) (career starters and returners are also welcome)
- A committed personality with interest in and enjoyment of pharmaceutical work
- Social skills when dealing with patients and colleagues, and teamwork ability
- Ability to act independently
