Thesis in Development: Fusion Algorithms for Multi-IMU Systems

Thesis at Bosch in research, advance and technology development on fusion algorithms for multi-IMU systems. Enrollment at a university is required.

• Your tasks include literature research on existing fusion approaches for IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units), for example in robotics.
• You build movable multi-IMU systems in a simulation environment and/or a small demonstrator test bench.
• You independently run experiments and evaluate the results.
• You develop various fusion filters to improve position accuracy regarding drift and coupling parameters in the multi-IMU network.

• Education: studies in engineering or natural sciences with a focus on electrical engineering, sensor technology, microsystems technology or similar, with very good academic results
• Experience and know-how: in signal processing or a similar field is an advantage
• Personality and working style: you work independently and in a structured way
• Working day: frequent on-site presence is desired, but mobile working is possible
• Languages: fluent German and English
