Industrial mechanics are indispensable in our production halls. They manufacture mechanical individual parts by machining workpieces, which they assemble together with other components into fixtures or entire systems. They ensure their maintenance and control the production process. Their tools include welding technology, machining, and solid know-how about the interaction of pneumatic, electronic, and mechanical components. Since the possible areas of responsibility are very broad, apprentices at Bosch specialize in a specific field. The choices are: plant engineering, device and precision engineering, machine and system engineering, or production engineering.
