About this Apprenticeship

What You'll Learn
- Commission stations and equipment and independently run tests on plastic injection moulding and joining technology
- Help with investigations of plastic parts (e.g. micro-sections, penetration and leak tests, strength tests)
- Learn about simulation options for the injection moulding process and gain insight into tool making, from sampling to release of injection moulds
- Work with process developers in automotive sensors (combustion, electric, fuel cell) and process development from first samples to series production
- Work in a project team, handle tasks independently and join simultaneous engineering team meetings
Requirements
- Studies in materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Independent and analytical way of working
- Team player with strong initiative and commitment
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ideally first experience with plastics and confident use of MS Office and experimental design software
- Very good German (at least C1), good English
