Internship in Fire Protection and Hazard Prevention

Internship at Robert Bosch Semiconductor Manufacturing Dresden GmbH in fire protection and plant hazard prevention. Enrollment at a university is required.

• During your internship you revise operational information for the plant hazard prevention teams (plant fire brigade)
• As part of plant fire protection, you support the architecture and space management areas.
• You play a major part in implementing fire protection topics in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• You attend meetings for construction projects and take on your own subtasks in various projects.
• You also adapt and check fire department plans and escape and rescue plans in CAD and BIM.
• In the production area you update the fire load calculations.
• You support the use of digital tools for hazard prevention and the plant fire brigade.
• You gain valuable insight into Business Continuity Management (BCM) and learn its processes.

• Education: studies in architecture, mechanical engineering, fire protection, hazard prevention or rescue services
• Experience and know-how: in structural fire protection; confident with MS Office (Excel and Power BI); experience in the fire service or rescue services is an advantage
• Personality and work style: you are an independent team player who works responsibly and in a structured way
• Enthusiasm: interest in fire protection and plant hazard prevention
• Languages: fluent German and good English
