Doctoral Candidate Machine Dynamics & NVH – Optimizing the Vibration Behavior of Electrified Mobile Hydraulic Drive Systems

Fixed-term full-time position as a doctoral candidate at Bosch Rexroth AG in Horb am Neckar, optimizing the vibration behavior of electrified mobile hydraulic drive systems. Start as soon as possible or by arrangement.

• Analyze the dynamic vibration behavior of hydraulic components for electrified mobile hydraulic drive systems
• Develop simulation models (MBS, FEM) to represent dynamic behavior and for new approaches to optimizing the noise behavior of hydraulic components
• Design suitable test setups to validate the simulation models and test the optimization approaches
• Design innovative, model-based control strategies for active damping of vibrations and pressure pulsations in hydraulic systems
• Present research results at international conferences and support knowledge transfer in interdisciplinary teams

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physical engineering sciences, physics or a comparable field
• Knowledge of machine dynamics, vibration engineering and NVH
• Experience with simulation tools in the context of dynamics and NVH and enjoyment of developing complex simulation models combined with measurement validation
• Very good analytical skills and an independent, structured way of working
