Maintenance Engineer Furnace

As a Maintenance Engineer Furnace in a fully continuous 24/7 shift system, you ensure production availability and the proper and qualitative execution of maintenance measures on the equipment in your area together with the team. This includes carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance in compliance with safety-relevant specifications and work instructions, as well as independent and proactive troubleshooting and rectification of simple fault patterns on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems together with your internal team and, after coordination, with external service partners. You independently carry out qualifications based on specified qualification instructions and operate necessary metrology equipment independently. You ensure high machine availability (uptime) and system stability using methods such as SPC. You create handling instructions for maintenance measures and the associated checklists in coordination. Detailed documentation of your work in our maintenance applications is a matter of course for you. These tasks are complemented by active participation in the continuous improvement process. Furthermore, you participate in equipment commissioning. In this position, you work in our fully continuous 6:4 shift model: 6 working days followed by 4 days off.

Education: successfully completed skilled worker training in a technical field (mechatronics, electrical engineering, microtechnology, or similar) with professional experience. Experience: professional experience in practical maintenance (preventive maintenance and troubleshooting), preferably in the semiconductor industry (semiconductor manufacturing or supplier); knowledge of production and maintenance of technical equipment and systems (preferably in semiconductor industry equipment); knowledge of methods such as SPC desired. Personality: team-oriented, flexible, motivated, resilient, strong communication skills. Work style: forward-thinking, independent, self-responsible, result- and quality-oriented, and highly reliable. You follow extensive safety regulations and can assess and minimize hazards in daily work; willingness to work in a fully continuous shift system. Languages: very good German and good English skills.
