At the start, there are introductory days for all new apprentices. This way you get to know your team and settle in well. In the first apprenticeship year, you acquire basic knowledge in metalworking, the correct use of tools, and various joining techniques. In the second year, you work in various departments. You learn the structure and function of piston and jet engines as well as the handling of test equipment. You also become familiar with aerospace-specific documents such as manuals and internal documentation. Your knowledge of metalworking expands to include computer-aided manufacturing processes such as CNC and 3D printing. In the third and fourth years, you can deepen your technical knowledge through internal training on the engine types assembled, tested, and maintained at Rolls-Royce Germany. There is also the possibility of completing an eight-week internship abroad at Lufthansa Technik in Malta.

You have a passion for technology and want to start your apprenticeship at a leading company in aerospace engineering. You are reliable, take responsibility, and work carefully. You can work independently and feel comfortable in a team. You like to get hands-on and are interested in technical tasks. You enjoy communicating with others and have basic knowledge of English. Good academic performance in mathematics and physics, technical understanding, and a qualifying school diploma.
