Dual Study Program in Mechanical Engineering

During your studies you will acquire all relevant engineering fundamentals, including design, production, electrical engineering, computer science and business administration in an international environment. During the practical phases you will gain diverse insights into the various business areas at Rosenberger OSI. The theoretical phases take place at DHBW Heidenheim or Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. You will participate in various sub-projects in the design and product development of optical cabling solutions for industry, datacom and telecommunications and gain initial experience in project management. The dual study program at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is possible as a study program with enhanced practice or as a combined study program.

You have successfully completed a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) with a passed academic aptitude test (DHBW), with good grades in mathematics and physics. You have a strong interest in technical relationships and processes. You are IT-savvy and interested in various IT infrastructures, applications and solutions. A high degree of self-initiative, willingness to learn and perform is a matter of course for you. You have good analytical thinking skills and a quick grasp. An independent yet team-oriented work style characterizes you. Good English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
