Supervisor

Supervisor at the RS distribution center in Bad Hersfeld, leading employees (RS / temporary workers), handling staff planning and supporting shift managers and operations managers.

• Leading employees (RS / temporary workers) through active participation in the area of responsibility
• Contact person for employees in the area of responsibility
• Weekly and daily staff planning and scheduling based on budget targets (incl. Saturday and public holiday shifts)
• Adjusting planned staffing to day-to-day conditions
• Annual vacation planning for employees in the area
• Close contact with departments and colleagues within the company
• EH&S management in the area, incl. talking to employees, Gemba Walk, risk assessments, implementing measures (EH&S)
• Planning and carrying out onboarding of new employees and re-trainings
• Supporting and conducting appraisal talks with quality action plans / target agreements (incl. documentation)
• Support for the OSM (On-Site Manager Manpower) in the appraisal process
• Openness to collaboration and support in implementing new processes in the DC
• Active participation in projects & CI
• Carrying out "Our Performance": goals/KPI results – improvement – documentation
• Handling inquiries from neighboring areas
• Supporting shift managers & operations managers

• Preferably completed vocational training, ideally in logistics
• Experience leading and managing employee teams in operational processes
• Understanding and knowledge of operational processes in logistics
• Good knowledge of MS Office / Teams
• Good knowledge of Sicalis/Manhattan, SAP knowledge an advantage
• Hands-on mentality
• Very good German skills, spoken and written, English skills an advantage
• High social competence / communication skills
