About this Apprenticeship
Train in bank sales at R+V, working closely with Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken. You learn to help customers make decisions about insurance, financial protection and investments. The apprenticeship starts on 1 August 2027 and normally lasts 2.5 years.
What You'll Learn
- Combine theory and practice: work with the sales team in Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken branches and build your knowledge at vocational school in Karlsruhe.
- Understand insurance: learn about our insurance and financial products and see how real customers are advised.
- Work as a team: prepare for customer consultations, handle follow-up work, prepare quotes and help the team complete contracts.
Requirements
- Intermediate secondary school leaving certificate or a qualification allowing entry to university or a university of applied sciences
- Curiosity and an interest in advising customers and business topics
- Motivation to learn new things
- A driving licence by the start of the apprenticeship
- Also welcome: current university students who have realised they would prefer a new challenge with more practical learning
What R+V Versicherung offers
- Fixed apprenticeship pay: €1,455 per month in the first year, €1,532 in the second and €1,620 in the third, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses worth two months' pay.
- Well-structured training, a mentoring programme, internal training and support to develop your skills.
- The apprenticeship normally lasts 2.5 years. It can be shortened to 2 years if your performance meets the requirements.
- Employer contributions to savings, help with learning materials and help with travel or rent costs depending on the distance to vocational school.
- 30 days of holiday, plus 24 and 31 December off, the latest iPhone and a notebook computer, and a 38-hour working week under the pay agreement.
