About this Apprenticeship
An apprenticeship in bank sales at R+V in the Metzingen region starting on 1 August 2027. You work closely with Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken and learn to help customers with insurance, planning for the future and financial investments. Training normally lasts 2.5 years and can be shortened to two years if your performance meets the requirements.
What You'll Learn
- Combine theory and practice: Work as part of the team serving customers in Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken branches and build your knowledge at vocational school in Karlsruhe.
- Understand insurance: Learn about the company's insurance and financial products and see how real customers are advised.
- Work as a team: Prepare for customer meetings, complete follow up work, create offers and help the team finalise contracts.
Requirements
- An intermediate school leaving certificate or a university entrance qualification
- Curiosity and an interest in advising people and business topics
- Motivation to learn new things
- A driving licence when the apprenticeship starts
- Applicants who have realised during their current degree that they would prefer a new, practical challenge are also welcome
What R+V Versicherung offers
- Fixed training pay of €1,455 per month in the first year, €1,532 in the second and €1,620 in the third, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses worth two months of pay.
- Well organised training, a mentoring programme and internal training to help develop your skills.
- Training normally lasts 2.5 years. If your performance meets the requirements, it can be shortened to two years.
- Contributions to a savings plan, help with learning materials, and help with travel or rent costs depending on the distance to vocational school.
- 30 days of holiday plus 24 and 31 December off, the latest iPhone and a laptop, and a 38 hour working week under the pay agreement.
- Partnerships with EGYM WELLPASS and Benefits.me, workplace health support and health programmes from the R+V company health insurance fund.
