About this Apprenticeship
An apprenticeship with R+V Insurance in bank sales in Duisburg. Working with Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, you learn to help customers with insurance, retirement planning and financial investments. Training normally lasts 2.5 years and can be shortened to 2 years with suitable performance.
What You'll Learn
- Combine theory and practice: Work as part of the sales team in Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken branches and develop your knowledge at GenoKolleg in Münster.
- Understand insurance: Learn about our insurance and financial products and see how real customers are advised.
- Work in a team: Prepare and follow up on advice meetings, create quotes and help the team conclude contracts.
Requirements
- An intermediate school leaving certificate or a university entrance qualification
- Curiosity and enjoyment of advising people and learning about business topics
- Motivation to learn new things
- A driving licence by the start of training
- Also welcome: Students who have realised during their current degree that they would prefer a new challenge with more practical learning
What R+V Versicherung offers
- Fixed training pay: €1,455 per month in the first training year, €1,532 in the second and €1,620 in the third, plus holiday and Christmas payments worth two months of pay.
- Support for your talents: Well-structured training, a mentoring programme and internal training and talent development.
- Training normally lasts 2.5 years. With suitable performance, it can be shortened to 2 years.
- Financial support: Contributions to a savings plan, help with learning materials and contributions to travel or rent depending on the distance to your vocational school.
- Modern workplace: 30 days of leave plus 24 and 31 December off, the latest iPhone and a laptop, and a 38-hour working week under a fixed agreement.
