Apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician | Lahr | 2027

A 3.5-year apprenticeship at Schneider Electric in Lahr, with 3.5 days per week at the company, vocational school in Offenburg and additional block classes. The apprenticeship starts on 1 September 2027 and involves 35 hours per week. It provides practical training in smart drive technology, mechanics, electrical engineering and control systems.

You will work on smart drive technology and help ensure that machines, conveyor belts and robots operate precisely and reliably. You will learn turning, milling, drilling and welding, work with tools and measuring equipment, build pneumatic systems and gain practical experience in robotics, development, maintenance, prototype construction, test equipment construction and service.

Interest in technology, electrical engineering and programming; confident German skills, with English skills an advantage; enjoyment of teamwork and independent tasks; a curious, solution-oriented, reliable and careful working style; willingness to develop professionally and personally.
