Confectionery Technology Apprenticeship in Quality Assurance

Three-year confectionery technology apprenticeship in quality assurance at Schwarz Produktion in Übach-Palenberg. Practical training covers chocolate production, hygiene checks and operating equipment. Classroom training takes place in blocks at the ZDS confectionery school in Solingen.

• During the practical part of your three-year apprenticeship in Übach Palenberg, you gain insight into the industrial production of high-quality chocolate
• You learn how product, equipment and staff hygiene are checked according to a set inspection plan
• You learn the relevant hygiene standards and general cleanliness rules for production areas, including GMP and glass monitoring
• You learn to check incoming raw materials and to set up, monitor and operate computer-controlled production and packaging equipment
• You learn how to make our products by hand. Classroom training takes place in blocks at ZDS, the German confectionery industry's specialist school in Solingen

• You have a lower or intermediate secondary school certificate with good grades in mathematics, biology and chemistry
• You are enthusiastic about technical processes and how they work
• You enjoy working with computer-controlled systems
• You are interested in food and how it reacts
