Specialist SAP BTP / Extension & Integration

As part of its SAP transformation program, SIGNAL IDUNA is looking for an experienced SAP BTP / Extension & Integration expert who will be responsible for designing and implementing a future-proof extension and integration architecture based on the SAP Business Technology Platform. The role is closely involved in the SAP Rise with Google projects.

• Be responsible for designing extensions and integration solutions in the SAP RISE context and ensure their seamless fit into the system landscape
• Define and establish extension concepts (side-by-side, key user, on-stack) in line with the SAP Clean Core strategy
• Design and implement integration scenarios with the SAP Integration Suite and connect SAP and non-SAP systems efficiently and reliably
• Support the implementation of applications and extensions on SAP BTP (e.g. CAP, RAP, UI5) and ensure architecture principles and best practices are followed
• Work closely with solution architecture, business departments and project teams and help develop the target architecture
• Evaluate new technologies (e.g. AI services on BTP) and turn them into scalable solutions with business value

• Deep understanding of modern system architectures, distributed systems and cloud-based platforms
• Sound experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform and the SAP Integration Suite
• Practical experience developing BTP applications (e.g. CAP, RAP, UI5, Node.js/Java, Kyma) and working in SAP transformation projects
• Ideally experience in the SAP S/4HANA or RISE environment and understanding of the requirements of complex system landscapes and infrastructure projects
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working, happy to take responsibility
• Confident communication with business departments, IT and project teams, fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Ideally first experience with RAP and CAP and exposure to AI services on SAP BTP
• Preferably relevant SAP certifications in BTP, integration or architecture
