About this Apprenticeship
The Tax and Customs Intern supports smart Europe’s central Tax and Customs team across 11 European countries and gains exposure to tax compliance, customs regulations and cross-border business processes.
What You'll Learn
- Providing administrative support for tax, customs, and compliance topics
- Supporting the review and analysis of tax and customs related questions, including industry-specific regulations
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns (especially compiling the required information and documents)
- Conducting research on current tax law changes, customs regulations, and their implications for the smart EU group
- Supporting communication with external suppliers (e.g. tax advisors or customs brokers)
Requirements
- Currently studying in Business, Taxation, Law, Customs, or a related field in tax, customs, and legal topics
- No previous professional or subject-specific knowledge required
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and ideally SAP
- Careful and independent working style
- Team player with good communication skills
