Apprenticeship as Construction Equipment Operator for Pile Driving

As a qualified construction equipment operator you have a lot to do: from planning based on sketches, to setting up, securing, loading and operating, to retooling the equipment. At SPITZKE, for example, you steer and operate our two-way excavators on track construction sites and monitor work processes. On site, you are responsible for care, maintenance and repair of the machine.

• Support: During the 3-year apprenticeship you support our teams on the track construction machines and help ensure the safety of rail traffic.
• Technology: You also get to know our modern fleet of over 100 machines: from two-way excavators to piling technology. Besides operating and maintaining these machines, you also learn to use surveying equipment.
• Teamwork: You work in the workshop and on our construction sites across Germany, always supported by our experienced trainer team.

• You have a qualified Hauptschulabschluss or the Mittlere Reife, or are about to finish it.
• You enjoyed math and physics at school.
• You are interested in the railway, love big machines and like to get stuck in.
• You impress with manual and technical skill, commitment, care and reliability.
• You like working outdoors and being on the move.
• You have no problem with weekend and assembly work.
