Traffic Safety Inspector for Engineering Structures

In the Civil Engineering Office, Division 66/4 Traffic Structures, the position of a Traffic Safety Inspector for Engineering Structures (m/f/d) is to be filled at the earliest possible date. The Civil Engineering Office is the driver of public infrastructure. With our employees we ensure that it remains safe, modern and environmentally friendly. In the area of traffic structures we actively and sustainably shape the mobility transition. In Team 66/4-2 Engineering Structures you are responsible for planning, construction supervision and maintenance of engineering structures. This includes bridges, tunnels, retaining walls & noise barriers as well as other engineering structures according to DIN 1076. Your tasks include both independent processing and management of external engineering firms and executing companies.

Identification, classification and documentation of defects, evidence preservation. Immediate elimination or cordoning off of traffic hazards. Participation in structural inspections according to DIN 1076 (RI-EBW-PRÜF). Minor repair measures and green maintenance. Occasional special assignments outside regular working hours.

You are a master craftsperson or technician with a focus on civil engineering or other disciplines with comparable knowledge in road construction. You work independently and in a team-oriented manner. Decisiveness is one of your strengths. PC skills are desirable but not a prerequisite. Driving license class CE required. You are physically fit and fully deployable.
