Dual Study Programme Bachelor of Arts – Social Security and Social Administration

Learn the art of professional conversation: train counselling, coaching and supervision in the field of social security, labour-market-related issues and municipal administration. Become an expert in case management: accompany people in social and family emergencies and develop solutions according to the standards of the German Society for Care and Case Management. Dive into social and administrative law: deepen your knowledge in SGB II, III, VIII and XII and support counselling and placement of unemployed people. Understand labour markets from all perspectives: analyse regional, national and international strategies of social and labour market policy. Promote health in every context: engage with public and occupational health promotion. Your dual study programme lasts seven semesters. You study online two days a week, attend two on-campus days at the university of applied sciences once a month, and spend three practical days per week directly in the Jobcenter Hanau.
