Three-year dual training at Rendsburg City Library, combining practical library work, internships at other libraries and theoretical training at Anckelmannstraße Vocational School in Hamburg. Weekly working hours are 39 hours.

Requirements
- At least an intermediate school-leaving certificate
- For foreign school qualifications, an equivalency certificate and proof of German language skills at C1 level
- Grade 3 or better in German and mathematics in the latest school report
- Enjoyment of working with people
- Interest in the media world and modern information and communication technology
- Ability to work in a team

- Pay under a collective training agreement: approximately €1,368.26 in the first, €1,418.20 in the second and €1,464.02 in the third year
