Apprenticeship - Electronics Technician for Operating Technology 2026

Apprenticeship starts 1 September 2026. In your 3.5-year apprenticeship, you'll learn all practical and theoretical fundamentals in our training center for the first 18 months. Then you'll start operational deployment, where you'll learn further skills and knowledge and actively support colleagues on site. What awaits you: We'll teach you all necessary electrical engineering and electronics knowledge needed for maintenance and repair of subways and trams; You'll learn how motors and sensors work; We'll make you proficient in wiring and control technology so building maintenance becomes child's play; We'll teach you measurement and control technology for use in our power plant facilities; You'll learn how to wire and program electronic systems; Additionally, we'll show you how to process various materials; You'll attend the Municipal Vocational School for Industrial Electronics in Munich for about 12 weeks per apprenticeship year, taught in block format.
